Manage Digital Alpha Server and related software. This included Open VMS, front line Student Administration System (SAS) support to all schools, support to the accounting, purchasing, and payroll systems, DBA (Oracle), install and maintain network software. Database conversion of RMS database (Y2K specific). Enhancements to a custom COBOL Library system. Worked on project to convert all SQL reports to Crystal using SQL Stored Procedures.

Application Support - Worked in most RenCS modules including IC, AP, SOP, POP, PD, GL, and others. Application Support is a catch-all phrase that has come to mean, answering users questions on how to run the various programs and modules. Consulting, designing, programing and implementing modifications to the programs and modules. Troubleshooting apparent "missing" invoices, GL updates etc. and virtually any other issue that may come up in the day-to-day running of RenCS.

Americhem

Developed and implemented a single screen order system which linked with their manufacturing system (Process One). Complete re-write of the order entry facilities, the auto despatch facilities, and printing routines. Client/project lead.

Gembase Related Work: specifically in the IC module. Experience with building custom labels for Pallets using Intermec Printer Language (IPL) and Intermec Label Printers.

Year 2000 compliance of Custom Gembase applications. Re-worked the code to use 4 digit dates. Helping to develop a "Store and Forward" layer to interface between the PM module of RENCS and the new custom PMJR system. Worked on Auto Cash module in Gembase to automatically take the Banks Datafile and upload all cash receipts into RenCS.
